Gwynne will play 'Garda Niamh O'Donoughue' in "DOING MONEY" a 1 x 90 minutes of high-end TV for BBC 2 Television. It is based on a shocking and gripping true story. The 90 minute film will be the flagship of “Why Slavery?”, an international season of programmes scheduled for BBC in October 2018 to tie in with International Anti Slavery Day. It is currently in production in Northern Ireland and is written by Gwyneth Hughes and directed by Lynsey Miller. Renegade Pictures, a Warner Bros International Television Production Company, are producing.

June saw Gwynne wrap filming on NIGHTFLYERS which is in production in Troy Studios in Limerick. Based on the Novella by George R.R. Martin Gwynne is cast in the recurring role of 'TOBIS' a leading member of the NIGHTFLYER medical team. The spaceship Nightflyer embarks on a perilous mission to make contact with an advanced alien species that could hold the key to the earth's survival. But en route, a strange and deadly force starts stalking the various crew members to their deaths.

Prior to that she wrapped filming on Mary McGuckian's feature film "A GIRL FROM MOGADISHU" which was filmed in Dublin. It is based on the life of Ifrah Ahmed a victim of and now international activist against Female Genital Mutilation, stars Aja Naomi King and Barkhad Abdi.

Her other screen credits include 'Catherine Finnegan' in the second season of RTE Television's legal drama "STRIKING OUT", roles in "RIPPERSTREET 3", HISTORY'S VIKINGS SERIES, the role of 'Sheryl Kerr' in RTE Television's "FAIR CITY", and 'Rosemary' in Pat O'Connor's Feature Film "CIRCLE OF FRIENDS".

While living in London Gwynne completed a Postgraduate course at The Academy Of Live And Recorded Arts and was awarded Best Newcomer Of The Year by Hotchoice Magazine. While there she played 'Titania' in "MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM" at Hampton Court Palace and 'Christine' in "DANCING AT LUGHNASA" at Lewisham Broadway theatre. She also taught for Stagecoach and performed in educational theatre. A graduate of Dublin's Gaiety School Of Acting Gwynne's theatre credits also include 'Siobhra' in "TRUE LINES" directed by John Crowley which toured Ireland and London, and won the Stewart Parker Award. She also played 'Eileen' in Druid's "POOR BEAST IN THE RAIN" directed by Garry Hynes, 'Ophelia' in "HAMLET" for Second Age, and 'Lucy Manette' in "A TAIL OF TWO CITIES" in Dublin's Gate Theatre.

Her voice work includes several radio plays for BBC Northern Ireland, and Henchmen Productions radio play "THE CHOICE" for Newstalk, as well as voice overs for Channel 4 animation and Doctorpuss Films.
