Thommas is cast in the principal recurring role of 'Brian 'BUTSY' Butler' in "DARKLANDS", Mark O'Connor's new crime drama series for Virgin Media 1 which is in post-production.

Also in post-production is Deadpan Pictures 6-part period television drama series "DEAD STILL" for RTE 1 in Ireland and Acorn TV in North America in which Thommas plays the supporting role of 'Bertie Mulgrew'. "DEAD STILL" is set in 1880s Ireland in the Victorian era heyday of ‘postmortem photography'. The series is directed by Imogen Murphy who co-wrote it with John Morton.

September 16th will see Thommas head into full-time rehearsals as the sole performer in "THE HAIRCUT" for The Ark in Dublin's Temple Bar. The Ark is a cultural hub for kids, home to music, theatre and dance shows, workshops and exhibitions. "THE HAIRCUT" will run twice daily most days as part of this years Dublin Theatre Festival from Thursday October 10th to Saturday November 2nd inc, and will be directed by Wayne Jordan and produced by Kelly Phelan.

Thommas received five star reviews for his performance in his one-man play "THE FATTEST DANCER AT ST. BERNADETTE'S" at last years Dublin Fringe Festival playing the role of 'Julian La Blanc'. He performs opposite fellow agency actress Erikca Roe in another of his plays "SAY NOTHIN’ TO NO ONE" (Dublin's Project Arts Centre) which was awarded the first ever Stewart Parker Development Award back in 2017. Another of Thommmas's plays "WELL THAT’S WHAT I HEARD" (Theatre Upstairs, Project Arts Centre) which he wrote and directed premiered to critical acclaim. It's currently in development for the small screen.

His theatre credits as a performer include 'JAMES' (and other characters) in Tracy Martin's hard-hitting play ‘DUBLIN WILL SHOW YOU HOW’ directed by Vanessa Fielding (Abbey Theatre's Peacock stage and also in The Complex Arts Centre in Smithfiled), ‘Otto’ in “SPRING AWAKENING” (Ill Advised Theatre Company), ‘Oronte’ in “THE MISANTHROPE” (Irish Tour), ‘Leyton’ in “MY SECOND SELF” (No Tears Productions), and ‘Bill’ in Lee Coffey’s “TRUE PIRATES NEVER DIE”.

Thommas is a trained singer with extensive experience in Musical Theatre and dance, he holds an associate diploma of Guildhall, London (ATCL), and is also a very talented voice over artist.
