Congratulations to Bob, Conall Morrison and the team at Blue Raincoat, their production of THE TRAVELS OF JONATHAN SWIFT was awarded BEST ENSEMBLE at The 23rd Irish Time Irish Theatre Awards.

Bob's play “TINTOWN” in which he is the sole performer played in several venues throughout Ireland earlier this year. Meticulously researched through access to rare internee interviews he wrote it during his Theatre Artist Residency in Sligo’s Hawk’s Well Theatre. "TINTOWN" played in the Ballina Arts Centre, The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon, The Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork, the Wexford Opera House, The Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge in Co. Kildare, The Ramor, Virginia in Co. Cavan, the Town Hall Theatre, Galway, and The Factory in Sligo.

One of Bob's current writing projects is “BREAKFAST ON PLUTO” for Landmark Productions which was due to premiere at this year's Galway International Arts Festival. The festival was cancelled due to Covid-19.

Screen acting credits include the lead role of ‘Sean Heuston’ in Abu Media’s 1916 Rising TV series “SEACHTAIR DEARMADHA” directed by Daithi Keane, the lead role of ‘Dave’ in TW Films short “FOXGLOVE” directed by Brian Deane, the lead role of 'Andy' in El Zorreo’s short “WITHDRAWAL” directed by Philip Sheerin, the lead role of ‘Sean’ in Technowolf’s short “WITHOUT WORDS” directed by Brian Deane, and the lead roles of ‘Robbie’ and ‘Jason’ in the IADT shorts ‘ESCORT’ and “COLD READING”.

Bob trained at renowned Lecoq school in Paris. He has performed throughout Ireland and in notable European venues including The Louvre, The Royal Ballet School, Theatre13 Paris and Theatro Massimo in Cagliari. In Paris he received critical acclaim for his work in L’ECRIVAIN PUBLIC (Plateforme).

Bob has worked with renowned director John Tiffany ("Harry Potter and The Cursed Child") on “ONCE: THE MUSICAL" and "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN” (The Abbey Theatre). He has played the mythical Irish hero ‘CUCHULAINN’ in Blue Raincoat's "ON BAILE'S STRAND" in Coney Island, New York. Other theatre work includes “NIVELLI’S WAR” (Cahoots, New Victory NY), “THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY” (Abbey Theatre), “THE KING OF THE GREAT CLOCK TOWER” (Royal Ballet School), “FIVE MINUTES LATER” (Sugarglass), “COUNTRY GIRLS” (Red Kettle), “MACBETH” (The Mill), “CABARET EMOTIVO (Theatro Stabile de la Sardegna), and “PINNOCHIO” (Cahoots NI).

With Blue Raincoat Theatre Company he has performed in “AT SWIM TWO BIRDS”, “RHINOCEROS”, “ON BAILE’S STRAND”, “FIRST COSMONAUT”, “THE POOR MOUTH”, and “PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD”.
