George won the Best Actor Award at last year's Toronto Film Festival for her performance in the lead role of 'MEG DALY' in Gerry Stembridge's feature film "THE RANDOMER".

Early this month saw her wrap on Niall Owens feature film "GATE WAY" in which she plays the supporting role of 'Ellen'. Also in post-production is Shaun O'Connor's new IFB Funded short film "MARY" in which George plays the supporting role of 'Grainne'.

Her past film and television credits include the role of 'Detective Inspector Audrey McCabe' in RTE Television's prime time soap drama "FAIR CITY", the lead role of 'Victoria' in Enrique Carnicer's short film "SHOT-HIT-SPANK", "Lorraine Butler" in Shaun O'Connor's multi-awarding winning short film "DISAPPEAR", and the role of recurring role of 'Fiona' in Mark Cogan's trilogy of short films "THE HANDSOME SHADOWS".

George will play the ‘Wicked Witch' and 'Ms Gulch’ in Cork Opera House's summer production of THE WIZARD OF OZ by L.Frank Baum, book adaptation by John Kane. It will be directed by Wayne Jordan. Opens July 21st runs to August 26th.

Past theatre credits include 'Ida Levin' in Aideen Wylde's play "LEVIN & LEVIN" (Project Arts Centre DFF), 'The Devil' in "NEON WESTERN" (Samuel Beckett Theatre DFF), 'Violet' in Stacey Gregg's 2-hander play "OVERRIDE" (Project Arts Centre), 'Vera' in The Everyman's staging of Frank McGuinness's play "THE FACTORY GIRLS", BrokenCrow's "DARK KINGDOM"(Cork Midsummer Festival), 'The Devil' in "NEON WESTERN:PROLOGUE" (Cork Midsummer Festival 2016), 'Mrs. Tancred' in The Everyman's production of “JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK”, 'Sheilagh' in "THE STRANGE UNDOING OF PRUDENTIA HART" also at the Everyman, 'Grace' in Conflicted Theatre Company's production of "COME DINE WITH CHARLES MEE" (Cork Midsummer Festival 2015), 'Margarita' in "THE MASTER AND MARGARITA" (Everyman, Cork), 'Agnetha' in BrokenCrow’s "PROSPECT HOUSE" and "BETWEEN TREES AND WATER" with Painted Bird Productions (Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival).
