In post-production is "'AVENGER’ GHAOTH DOBHAIR" a new docudrama for TG4, produced by Ciarán Ó Cofaigh and directed by Tomás Seoighe. It tells the true story of how a Donegal native killed James Carey, a leading member of the assassination squad 'The Invincibles' off the coast of South Africa in 1883.
Also in post-production are Merman's new comedy series for Channel 4 and Amazon "FRANK OF IRELAND", and Pulse Films short film "CALLED BACK" directed by Amy O'Connor in which Matt plays the supporting role of 'Paul'.
His theatre credits include 'Philinte' in 13 Spanner's staging of Peter Reid's adaptation of Moliere’s "THE MISANTHROPE" (The Viking Theatre), ‘Cheswick’ in ‘ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST’ (Helix), and ‘Brendan’ in Conor McPherson’s ‘THE WEIR’ (The Viking Theatre).
