However, today is different; nobody's brought the breakfast and they're getting hungrier and hungrier. As the two brothers' anticipation and festive plans turn to fear and anxiety they are forced to confront their past and face the grim truth about what has brought them down below, where the world was supposed to forget about them. The play was written and will be directed by Paul Testar.

Lacy Moore to star in Short Film 'SKUNKY DOG'
Principal photography will soon begin on short film ‘Skunky Dog’, a contemporary drama set in a small fishing town in rural Ireland. Written and Directed by James Fitzgerald (OIC Media), shooting is scheduled for the first week of March in Galway in places like Spiddal, Barna and Connemara. ‘Skunky Dog’ tells the tragic story of Flick, a nineteen year old alcoholic boy who spends his time drinking and dreaming of a better life. Rising star, Ryan McParland (Good Vibrations, 6Degrees), who is currently nominated for a prestigious Irish Times Theatre Award, will play Flick and he will star alongside Lacy Moore (Emmerdale Farm, Hollyoaks), who will take on the role of a young widow who turns his world upside-down by showing him some much needed affection. Peter Ballance (Game of Thrones, Laws of Attraction) will take on the role of Mick Dunne, a local mechanic who sees potential in Flick and offers him the odd bit of work, when he can. This position becomes a challenge for Flick as Mick’s sexual orientation is a topic of debate amongst the local community. Joining the cast are David McSavage (Calvary, The Savage Eye) who will play Morgan, the friendly barman; while John Connors (Love/Hate, King of the Travellers) and Tristan Heanue (Love, Rosie. Runner) will play Flick’s misguided friends, Shooter and Ham, respectively. Patrick Molloy (Titanic: Blood and Steel) will take on the unenviable role of Flick’s abusive father. 'Skunky Dog' will be produced by Stand Mantra Productions and OIC Media in association with The National Film School at IADT.

The film tells the story of how a woman called Charlotte lost her childish innocence through a brutal attack. The story is told in a series of flashbacks. 'The Raven' combines elements of animation with live action giving a sense of childlike imagination to a very dark subject. The film shoots on Tuesday, February 18th in Dublin.

Irene Kelleher performs in 'Desolate Heaven' at Cork's Everyman Palace Theatre
In what was an awful week weatherwise for the people of Cork, Irene peformed in 'Desolate Heaven' at Corks's Everyman Palace Theatre nightly up until Saturday February 8th. The play is written by Ailís Ní Ríain and was Directed by Tony McCleane-Fay. It also starred Irish actress Aine Ryan and well known Irish actress Mary McEvoy. Irene and Aine play two young girls who runaway together due to being burdened with unnatural responsibility. As well as being a haunting, dark drama 'Desolate Heaven' is also a story of falling in love, of fairytales, of feeling too deeply and having to grow up too soon. The play was awarded the Tom Erdhardt Peggy Ramsay Award in 2012 and was premiered at London’s Theatre 503 in February 2013. The play received its Irish premiere in this co-production between Cork's Granary Theatre and The Everyman as part of the Everyman’s on-going Everyman Touring Initiative whereby new works are premiered at the theatre and then toured throughout the county.

Duncan Lacroix cast in one of the leading roles in Starz Television Series 'OUTLANDER'
Duncan is cast in one of the leading roles in the highly anticpated television drama from Battlestar Galactica's Ron Moore. OUTLANDER is based on a seven-book series by Diana Gabaldon.
Duncan will play Murtagh Fraser Fitzgibbons. OUTLANDER revolves around Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, who strikes up a passionate affair with Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 and thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire's heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
Duncan joins a cast that also includes fellow Game of Thrones alum Tobias Menzies, Catriona Balfe (who plays Claire Randall) and Scottish natives Graham McTavish and Gary Lewis. McTavish (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, 24) will play Dougal MacKenzie, while Lewis (Gangs of New York, Billy Elliot) will portray Colum MacKenzie. Duncan's credits also include Sky Television's Primeval, Tile Films Cromwell in Ireland and The CW's Reign. Before heading over to Scotland back in October, which is where he will be based until late 2015, Duncan wrapped filiming on the second season of 'Vikings' in which we will see him play Saxon noble 'Ealderman Werferth'.
